Employee Workplace seeks an Electrical Design Engineer for a temporary, hybrid role in Saline, MI. You will design ECUs, sensors, and electrical components, develop 3D CAD in CATIA V5, and drive component development from concept to production while balancing cost, weight, and timing.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical or Mechanical preferred.
• 5+ years of vehicle development experience.
• 5+ years of supplier collaboration experience.
• 4+ years of CATIA V5 experience with parametric 3D modeling and drawings.
• Experience using AI tools to improve efficiency.
• ADAS/CAE/CST Studio Suite experience in automotive context preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Design and package ECUs, sensors, and related electrical components.
• Develop 3D models and 2D engineering drawings using CATIA V5.
• Lead component development through start of production, balancing cost, mass, performance, quality, and timing.
• Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturing, engineering teams, project leaders, and international stakeholders.
• Support vehicle production trials and structured problem-solving activities.
• Participate in cross-functional Obeya meetings.
• Create engineering and process documentation using Microsoft Office.
