Job summary

TekWissen® Group is recruiting for an Automotive ECU Design & Development Engineer to join the client's Integrated Vehicle Systems team in Saline, Michigan. The temporary, onsite role focuses on developing electronics components for vehicle-specific applications, including ECUs and wireless communications, reporting to the Senior Manager.

You will plan parts and system structures, define electrical interfaces, manage schedules, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with global design centers

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• More than 6 years of experience leading or collaborating on development of mid-sized or large-scale electronic systems from concept through production.
• 1-2 years of experience with electrical architecture and vehicle ECU communication protocols including CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, CXPI, and related technologies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Plan structure of parts and systems through target setting, packaging, electrical interface definition, parameter setting, and style feasibility.
• Lead the development of electronic parts for concurrent minor and major vehicle changes.
• Collaborate with Client Design Center and Japan counterparts on cockpit electronics.
• Mentor junior engineers in the development of electrical systems.
