Job summary

Synstack Technologies in La Grange, IL, is seeking an experienced electrical design engineer to prepare, design, and develop vehicle electrical applications per customer specifications and engineering standards.

You will create schematics and electrical circuits, collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing, manage deliverables, and document design changes. Proficiency with NX CAD, SAP BOM, and MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• Advanced engineering degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in developing / designing vehicle based electrical systems.
• Experience with SAP for parts usage and BOM determination.
• Experience with NX or other mechanical CAD applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, design, develop electrical application designs for heavy equipment vehicle electrical systems per customer specifications and standards.
• Develop electrical circuits and schematics to meet customer requirements and design specifications.
• Provide manufacturing support for electrical applications and document design changes as needed.
• Work with suppliers to apply electrical components to the vehicle.
• Analyze specifications to develop required electrical schematics and applications.
• Coordinate and communicate status of all deliverables per order and schedule.
