Job summary

The engineer will analyze vehicle specs, manage deliverables, and conduct design reviews while staying current with new electrical technologies relevant to heavy equipment vehicles.

Qualifications

• BSEE degree or equivalent; 3–5 years of vehicle electrical systems design experience.
• Experience with NX or other mechanical CAD; SAP experience for BOM.
• Experience in electrical controls for machines and power systems.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical applications for heavy vehicle systems per specs.
• Develop circuits and schematics for vehicle applications.
• Support manufacturing up to 10% of time.
• Collaborate with suppliers on electrical components.
• Analyze vehicle specs to develop schematics.
• Manage status of deliverables per schedule.
• Conduct design reviews for all development phases.
• Produce documentation of electrical designs.
• Stay current with new electrical tech for vehicle design.
• Organize workload and provide timely status updates.
• Perform basic electrical design tasks including BOM development.
