Job summary

Nexio Power, Inc. seeks a Vehicle Electrical Architecture Engineer to design, integrate, validate, and release Nexio’s vehicle electrical systems. You will translate vehicle requirements into manufacturable electrical architectures and work across engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and service teams.

The role requires hands-on experience with wiring harness design, validation, and production readiness, plus strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EE or related discipline.
• Experience designing automotive or commercial vehicle electrical systems.
• Familiarity with automotive norms and standards for electrical systems.
• Direct experience designing vehicle wire harnesses and interconnections.
• Schematic creation with EE tools (VeSys/Siemens Capital, Capital Harness).
• Working knowledge of CAN networks and diagnostics.
• Prototype builds and production transition experience.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the vehicle-level electrical architecture for Nexio vehicles and powertrain applications.
• Establish requirements for voltage, current, grounding, shielding and network connectivity.
• Develop harness schematics, wire lists, connector specs, BOMs, and manufacturing docs.
• Support prototype builds, vehicle commissioning, testing and validation.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for development, production, and field issues.
• Review supplier drawings, prototypes, specs, and change requests.
• Maintain configuration control and revision history for electrical documentation.
• Develop technical documentation for manufacturing, service, troubleshooting and field support.
