ALSO is seeking a Vehicle Dynamics Controls Engineer to develop and calibrate steering, stability, and traction control software for next-generation EVs. You will work with controls, embedded software, and test teams across the full software lifecycle from concept to release.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s or PhD in a related field, with strong MATLAB/Simulink skills, vehicle dynamics knowledge, and experience with real-time embedded systems and sensor fusion. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Controls, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink and model-based design.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle dynamics fundamentals.

Responsabilités

• Develop and calibrate steering, stability, and traction control algorithms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver control features.
• Define handling metrics and perform data analysis for pass/fail evaluation.
• Build and test estimation and control algorithms for vehicle dynamics.
• Create test cases in-vehicle and in simulation.
• Develop and maintain simulation models to validate estimators and controllers.
• Develop high-fidelity vehicle dynamics models using relevant tools.
• Build closed-loop simulations for motion-planning and trajectory generation.
• Identify and troubleshoot software issues using logs.
• Drive system-level integration across software, firmware, and vehicle domains
