Job summary

HireArt is hiring a Vehicle Dynamics CAE Engineer to lead high-fidelity multibody models and optimize ride quality, handling, and stability for an autonomous ride-hailing platform. You will work with chassis, NVH, loads, controls, CAE, and integration teams to balance performance and occupant confidence.

The role emphasizes extensive experience in vehicle dynamics simulation and physical testing, using MSC Adams, CarMaker, and MATLAB/Simulink to correlate CAE results with real-world measurements.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in vehicle dynamics engineering, performance development, or simulation.
• Experience developing and evaluating vehicle dynamics through CAE simulations and physical testing.
• Proficiency with vehicle dynamics CAE tools (MSC Adams, CarMaker, MATLAB/Simulink).
• Knowledge of CAE-to-test correlation techniques and simulation validation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-fidelity multibody vehicle dynamics models using MSC Adams.
• Collaborate with design teams and supplier partners to improve component performance related to ride and handling.
• Generate suspension, full-vehicle, and powertrain loads per established processes.
• Develop and validate key vehicle dynamics metrics and performance targets using physical testing and CAE data.
• Collaborate with vehicle integration and software controls teams to balance ride, handling, and other performance attributes.
• Support active safety performance development and validation to meet automotive industry standards.
• Correlate simulation results with vehicle and subsystem test measurements, improving model accuracy.

Expected compensation: 92.75 USD Per Hour

HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company hire a Vehicle Dynamics CAE Engineer to develop and optimize vehicle dynamics performance through advanced simulation, physical testing, and cross-functional engineering collaboration.

In this role, you'll lead vehicle dynamics performance development, leveraging physical and virtual testing to optimize ride quality, handling, and vehicle stability. You'll collaborate with chassis, ride and handling, NVH, loads, vehicle controls, CAE, and vehicle integration teams to deliver a responsive, controllable autonomous vehicle platform that inspires occupant confidence and trust.

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in vehicle dynamics simulation, multibody modeling, and CAE-to-test correlation, with strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate across engineering disciplines to optimize vehicle performance.

As a Vehicle Dynamics CAE Engineer, You'll

• Develop and maintain high-fidelity multibody vehicle dynamics models using MSC Adams.

• Correlate simulation results with vehicle and subsystem test measurements, continuously improving model accuracy and predictive capabilities.

Requirements

• A master's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of relevant experience in vehicle dynamics engineering, performance development, or simulation
• Experience developing and evaluating vehicle dynamics performance through CAE simulations and physical testing
• Proficiency with vehicle dynamics CAE tools, including MSC Adams, CarMaker, and MATLAB/Simulink
• Knowledge of CAE-to-test correlation techniques and simulation validation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
