Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Systems Engineer II to advance a vehicle Digital Twin using NVIDIA Omniverse. You will join a cross-disciplinary team to integrate system models, CAD data, analysis, and test evidence into a single traceable digital thread.

The role blends systems engineering with software automation and AI-assisted tooling. You will own integrations, work with senior engineers, and translate ambiguous needs into testable, maintainable solutions across CAD, model data, and verification

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field
• 2+ years in systems engineering, digital engineering, digital twins, simulation or software integration
• Hands-on experience with Cameo or MagicDraw and Teamwork Cloud
• Experience with CAD tools (PTC Creo or equivalent) and engineering geometry
• Programming experience (Python) and API integration
• Experience with AI-assisted engineering tools and validating outputs
• Knowledge of digital thread concepts and V&V
• Ability to work across disciplines and communicate clearly

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Digital Twin capabilities in NVIDIA Omniverse
• Build OpenUSD-based workflows preserving CAD geometry and metadata
• Connect Cameo and Teamwork Cloud models to the Digital Twin with traceability
• Develop Python-based APIs and data pipelines linking analysis, telemetry, and repositories
• Correlate digital models with physical test data and document assumptions
• Utilize AI-assisted tools to accelerate integration while maintaining configuration control
• Apply systems engineering fundamentals for interfaces, data contracts, and V&V planning
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver Digital Twin workflows
• Participate in Agile planning, reviews, and demonstrations
