Job summary

OC Welch Ford Lincoln is seeking an experienced Service Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair customer vehicles. Ford certifications a plus. We offer competitive pay, health insurance, PTO, and a 401(k).

Responsibilities include test driving vehicles, using diagnostic tools, and providing accurate repair estimates. You will communicate with the Service Advisor and perform warranty work per manufacturer specifications. A high school diploma and 4+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 4 years of experience as an auto technician.
• Knowledge of all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed.
• Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
