Job summary

Cox Automotive – USA is seeking a Lead Lot Operations Specialist to perform vehicle detailing, cleaning, and readying cars for auction on a day shift at a Cox location in the United States. Responsibilities include interior cleaning, exterior washing, and maintaining site facilities.

The role requires strong attention to safety, valid driving credentials, and basic auto detailing or mechanical knowledge. Applicants should be prepared for a drug test and comply with company safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 7 years' experience.
• Alternative: any level degree/certification beyond HS with 5 years' experience.
• Or 9 years’ experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Clean out and de-trash interior of vehicles by removing debris from ashtrays, console, dashboard, seats, etc.
• Remove license plates and window writings not pertinent to Auction business; disassemble spare tires.
• Wash vehicles with high-pressure washer or car wash; detail engine compartment and battery terminals.
