Job summary

Cox Automotive in El Paso is seeking a Vehicle Detail Technician to ensure vehicles sent to the Detail Shop are cleaned and detailed to sale condition according to customer specifications and Auction standards.

You will inspect vehicles, remove debris, clean interiors and exteriors, wash with high-pressure equipment, and apply detailing products. Day shift, part-time hours, drug testing required; safety procedures expected.

Qualifications

• Generally, less than 2 years’ experience in a related field.
• Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to drive standard and automatic transmission vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vehicles sent to the Detail Shop are cleaned and detailed to sale condition according to customer specifications and Auction standards.
• Clean out interior and remove debris from ashtrays, consoles, dashboards and trunks.
• Wash vehicles with high-pressure washer or automatic car wash equipment and clean engine compartments.
• Detail interiors and exteriors, apply detailing products, and buff surfaces as needed.
• Perform related duties and drive vehicles into staging areas as required.
