Job summary

Cox Automotive Inc. is seeking a Detail Shop Associate to clean and detail vehicles to sale condition, inspect work areas, and ensure adherence to Auction standards. Responsibilities include interior cleaning, exterior washing, buffing, and proper staging for sale days.

The role requires safe driving, ability to operate standard/automatic transmissions, and physical endurance. Compensation includes hourly pay and benefits; authorization to work in the United States is required.

Qualifications

• Generally, less than 2 years' experience in a related field.
• Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
• Ability to drive both standard and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Must be able to stoop, bend, kneel, squat, and lean for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Clean interior and exterior of vehicles; remove debris from ashtrays, consoles, seats, trunk and engine area.
• Wash, buff and detail vehicles; apply chemicals and polish to surfaces.
• Vacuum and upholstery cleaning; ensure warranty booklets are returned.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in Safety Excellence activities.
• Drive vehicles to staging areas and assist on sale days as needed.
