Job summary

Rimkus in Boise, Idaho, seeks a Traffic Engineer to investigate and reconstruct vehicular collisions, evaluate work zone plans, signal timing, and device performance for litigation and safety improvements.

Responsibilities include preparing diagrams, charts, and expert reports; inspecting roadways and vehicles; presenting findings to clients and providing testimony as needed. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Professional/industry experience in traffic engineering.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Independent judgment; strong analytical skills.
• Ability to provide expert witness testimony.

Responsibilities

• Reconstructing vehicular collisions using analysis, CAE-based tools, and test data where appropriate.
• Provide collision scene evidence analysis and forensic mapping of collision sites and vehicles.
• Analyze single and multiple vehicle collisions, and intersection traffic signal analysis.
