Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Porter to support vehicle maintenance and dealership operations. You will assist with service write-ups, tagging, and preparing vehicles for customer return, while inspecting for damage and keeping lots organized.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and a valid driver's license with the ability to drive manual transmissions. This full-time role offers room for growth within a nationwide automotive retailer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive manual transmission vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Assist with service write-ups and tagging of customer cars and trucks.
• Remove vehicle protective coverings and ID tags prior to returning completed vehicle to customer.
• Inspect vehicles for stains, debris and damages and report issues.
• Transport customers and dealership personnel as needed.
• Perform deliveries and pick up/drop off vehicles and parts.
• Keep vehicle lot neat and orderly and assist with shop clean-up.
