Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Porter to support service write-ups, tagging, and the overall upkeep of customer vehicles. You will assist with vehicle turnover, inspect vehicles for cleanliness and damage, and ensure the lot remains organized and ready for display.

A valid driver's license and the ability to drive manual transmission vehicles are required. This role supports dealership operations, including transporting people and parts, performing deliveries, and aiding with shop cleanup as

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6–12 months of previous work experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
• Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with service write-ups and tagging of customer cars and trucks.
• Remove vehicle protective coverings and ID tags prior to returning completed vehicle to customer.
• Inspect vehicles for stains, debris and damages before returning the vehicle to the customer, report any damage immediately.
• Transport customers and dealership personnel as needed and perform deliveries as required.
• Keep vehicle lot neat and orderly and move units as directed.
• Return vehicle keys to the appropriate service consultant.
