Job summary

Teklabs Inc in Seattle seeks an experienced Calibration Engineer to participate in calibration, verification, and release of vehicle control system software. You will integrate and optimize vehicle performance through in-vehicle testing and apply engineering principles to ensure robust software.

The role develops test plans for requirements verification, analyzes defects, and collaborates with Control, Software, and Validation teams.

Qualifications

• BS in a technical field required.
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or ability to obtain.
• Knowledge of vehicle and powertrain systems.
• Familiar with automotive communication protocols: J1939, CAN, UDS, Ethernet.
• Strong communication and self-directed work ethic.
• Willing to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in calibration, verification, release, and implementation of software.
• Uses engineering principles to integrate, calibrate, and optimize vehicle performance.
• Develops and executes test plans for requirements verification and reports defects.
• Provides technical feedback on proposed product changes.
• Supports calibration, verification, and release of software changes.
• Contributes to on-time software releases and maintains calibration quality standards.
• Stays current on software functionality and product requirements.
• Identifies opportunities for improved calibration and testing methods.
