Job summary

034Motorsport in Fremont, CA is seeking an experienced Performance Powertrain Calibration Engineer to join our team and push the boundaries of aftermarket ECU tuning for Audi and Volkswagen platforms. You will own calibration across select platforms and work with our software calibration and marketing teams to deliver high-performance results.

Qualifications

2+ years of vehicle calibration experience.
Experience with aftermarket powertrain calibration tools and methods.
Ability to modify, program, and log variables in calibration software.
Able to read and interpret complex technical documentation and data.
Thirst for in-depth technical collaboration with team members.
Legally able to drive.

Responsibilities

Develop world-class engine and transmission software with calibration teams.
Hands-on calibration of engine and transmission control units.
Test and calibrate powertrain control systems on a dynamometer and real-world routes.
Take calibration projects from concept to deliverable software and test results.
Own engine calibration for a platform from development through maintenance.
Some travel for testing, events, and certification work.
