Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies seeks a skilled Body Controls and Integration Engineer to join the Body-Controls Integration Team. You will validate software for body controls, including interior/exterior lighting, cabin closures, and comfort systems, and manage integration testing across vehicle programs.

You will craft test plans, perform tests across Unit, SIL, HiL, and on-vehicle environments, and lead root-cause analysis for issues spanning hardware, electrical, and software

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience working with automotive control systems.
• Experience with Requirements Management System.
• Experience with Task Management system (e.g., JIRA).
• Experience with Source Control/Revision Control (e.g., Git).
• Proficiency in CAN/LIN/ETH tools (Vector CANalyzer, CANoe, CANape) and embedded hardware & software design.
• Demonstrated creativity in design work coupled with hands-on building abilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% as required.

Mansioni

• Integrate software components into the vehicle software system, supporting bench testing, in-vehicle integration and ensuring compatibility with existing systems.
• Create test plans and perform integration testing of Merge Requests for Body and Lighting features.
• Develop test cases and scripts for Unit, SIL, HiL, and vehicle testing environments.
• Conduct hands-on software testing and analyze results.
• Maintain Body-Bucks, HiL test assets, and vehicle test assets for MR testing and bug triage.
• Triage bugs across programs to speed up resolution.
• Lead root cause analysis using multidisciplinary approaches across physical, electrical, and software domains.
• Prioritize issues based on user impact and program objectives.
• Collaborate with other Engineering teams and program partners to align on defects and priorities.
