Job summary

The Plant Vehicle Team (PVT) Engineer role is with a major North American automotive manufacturer, co-located in the Vehicle Assembly Plant with the production team, focusing on quality across body exterior components.

You will analyze and fix quality issues in components and processes, collaborate with Body Exterior engineering to meet quality objectives, and support remote build centers, with emphasis on trims, decals, bumpers, latches and sealing. This is an onsite role from day one.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in product development, quality, program management or manufacturing.
• Onsite work from day one is required.
• Automotive industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve quality issues on components and processes within the Vehicle Assembly Plant
• Work with Body Exterior engineering team to deliver quality objectives
• Focus on Body Exterior Trim, Decals, Bumpers, Latches, and Sealing quality
• Support integrated remote build centers
