Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Project Chief for Exterior Trim to own and coordinate the design, development, and validation of exterior trim components across assigned vehicle programs. You will lead a cross-functional team, ensuring launches meet schedule, budget, and specifications.

The role emphasizes accountability for the entire Exterior Trim group, working with the Vehicle Systems Representative to align efforts and drive from concept through production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 5–7+ years in automotive design and development.
• Experience coordinating design, development and validation activities.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and validation for Exterior Trim systems on vehicle programs.
• Coordinate exterior trim components to meet quality, cost, weight and timing goals.
• Coordinate supplier activities and author source packages.
• Manage GIMS and part change management; oversee EDD management.
• Provide matrix leadership to design and development engineers.
• Partner with Vehicle Systems Representative to align cross-functional efforts.
• Communicate program status, timing and risks to senior leadership.
• Support vehicle development from concept to production.
