Job summary

Ford Motor Company in Ohio is seeking a PVT Engineer to join the Plant Vehicle Team. You will lead in-plant trials for design and supplier-driven changes, provide trial feedback for PPAP, and support major launches before OK to Buy. You will also guide minor launches with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to improve quality and production.

Required are a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and 3+ years in program or manufacturing engineering; a Master’s degree and Six Sigma training are

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
3+ years experience in Program, Product Development, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering
Even better: Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Six Sigma training

Responsibilities

Lead in-plant trials for design driven changes and assess impact on quality and production.
Lead in-plant trials for supplier driven changes and assess impact on quality and production.
Provide in-plant trial feedback as part of PPAP completion.
Support Launch Team for major launches prior to OK to Buy and post OKTB issue resolution.
Lead identified minor launches as agreed with functional and plant leadership.
