General Motors Company is seeking a 2027 Summer Intern on the Vehicle Aerodynamics and Machine Learning team in Warren, MI. You will work at the intersection of physics-based simulation, CFD, and AI/ML to improve vehicle aerodynamics and accelerate design exploration.

You will collaborate with researchers and cross-functional partners, developing data-driven models, preparing workflows, and communicating findings to engineering teams.

Qualifikationen

• Pursuit of MS or PhD in a technical field related to mechanics, aerospace, computational engineering, CS, applied math or physics.
• Able to work fulltime, 40 hours per week during the summer months.

• Support CFD and ML-based vehicle aerodynamics research.
• Set up, run, monitor, and post-process CFD simulations for vehicle studies.
• Develop Python tools to automate simulation setup and data processing.
• Document methods, results, and recommendations for stakeholders.
