Job summary

Qualifications

• Pursuing an advanced degree in a technical field (MS/PhD).
• Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week during the summer.
• Experience with Python, MATLAB, or C++.

Responsibilities

• Support vehicle aerodynamics research involving external flow, drag, lift, and efficiency.
• Set up, run, monitor, and post-process CFD simulations for aerodynamic studies.
• Prepare geometry, meshes, boundary conditions, and analysis workflows.
• Develop, train, test, and evaluate ML or surrogate models for aerodynamic quantities and flow-field predictions.
• Analyze coefficients, pressure distributions, velocity fields, and flow features.
• Document methods, data sources, and results; present findings to engineers.
