Job summary

The Auto Ranch Group in Meridian, ID is seeking an experienced buyer to join our vehicle acquisition team. You will scout listings, contact sellers, and negotiate purchases to secure value-driven deals.

As part of a tight-knit buying team, you will appraise vehicles, coordinate inspections, and handle paperwork with efficiency. Experience in automotive sales and strong negotiation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the automotive industry (sales, buying, or appraising).
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Must pass criminal background check & drug screen.
• Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Scout private-party listings (Facebook Marketplace,Craigslist, Autotrader, etc.)

• Assist customers with invoice reviews and payment processing
• Work in-house at our Meridian, ID headquarters as part of a tight-knit buying team

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

• 2+ years of experience in the automotive industry (sales, buying, or appraising)
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• An eye for value and a sense of urgency
• Proven record of performance and teamwork
• Ability to work independently
• Tech-savvy — comfortable withCRM tools and online platforms
