Job summary

Tim Moran Auto Group is expanding its team with a Vehicle Acquisition Specialist who sources and purchases vehicles to stock the dealership inventory. You will research markets, identify suitable vehicles, and engage private sellers to secure favorable terms, while coordinating with internal teams to align acquisition goals.

You will build a personal pipeline, negotiate terms, and pursue daily and monthly quotas through direct outreach on platforms like Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist.

Tim Moran Auto Group is looking for a motivated, competitive person to join our team. The Vehicle Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for sourcing and acquiring vehicles for the Tim Moran Auto Group inventory. Day-to-day tasks include market research to identify potential acquisitions, vehicles being offered for sale by private owners, evaluating and negotiating purchase terms, managing acquisition programs, and ensuring proper documentation and compliance. Collaboration with other departments to align acquisition strategies with each dealerships goals is also part of this role.

No Traditional Cold Calling

You won’t be calling random people trying to sell them something. You’ll be contacting people who have already listed their vehicle for sale on platforms such as Facebook Marketplace, and Craigslist. They already want to sell- the opportunity is to show them why selling to Tim Moran Auto Group will be faster, easier, and more convenient.
