Rimkus is seeking an experienced professional to investigate, reconstruct, and analyze vehicular accidents. The role involves using engineering analysis and CAE tools to determine causes, prepare demonstrative diagrams, and present findings in litigation as needed.

Responsibilities include inspecting vehicles, analyzing damage and speed relationships, and potentially providing expert testimony. A strong focus on accuracy, communication, and independent judgment is essential.

Qualifications

• BS in mechanical engineering preferred.
• P.E. license preferred.
• Master's in mechanical engineering preferred.
• 2–10+ years of accident reconstruction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reconstruct vehicular accidents using engineering analysis and CAE tools.
• Provide collision scene evidence analysis and forensic mapping.
• Inspect vehicles and mechanical parts for failure origin.
• Analyze speeds, braking, and occupant kinematics.
• Prepare written reports and provide expert testimony as needed.
• Present diagrams and analyses in litigation.
