Job summary

Group 1 Chevrolet Hub City, part of Group 1 Automotive, is seeking a detail-oriented Vehicle Accessories Installation Technician to join our growing team in Texas. If you enjoy working with vehicles and take pride in quality workmanship, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities include installing a range of vehicle accessories, diagnosing installation issues, and maintaining safety and quality standards while delivering excellent customer service in a dealership setting.

Qualifications

• Experience installing aftermarket vehicle accessories preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience with automotive electrical systems is an advantage.
• Ability to read installation instructions and technical manuals.
• High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated; clean driving record.

• Diagnose and resolve installation issues.

• Install a wide range of vehicle accessories, including:
  • Grill guards, Front end replacements
  • Hitches
  • Camper shells
  • Side steps
  • Driving lights and light bars
  • Bed covers
  • Spray in liners
  • Misc. accessories
• Perform installations to manufacturer specifications.
• Diagnose and resolve installation issues.
• Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workshop.
• Work effectively as part of a team while managing jobs independently.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional attitude.

Qualifications

• Experience installing aftermarket vehicle accessories (preferred).
• Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience with automotive electrical systems is an advantage.
• Ability to read installation instructions and technical manuals.
• High attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
• Current driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to safely lift and handle vehicle accessories.
• Must be able to pass respirator exam.
