Job summary

Eagle River Ford in Wisconsin is seeking an Accessory Technician to join our growing team. You will install OEM and aftermarket accessories, learn spray-in bed liners and undercoating, and upgrade trucks to meet customer needs with precision and care.

Qualifications

  • Previous automotive accessory installation experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with hand and power tools.
  • Willingness to learn spray-in bed liners, undercoating, and a wide variety of aftermarket installations.
  • Experience with truck accessories, trailer hitches, lighting, or basic electrical work is a plus.
  • Ability to follow detailed installation instructions and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Positive attitude with willingness to learn new skills and techniques.
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Install OEM and aftermarket vehicle accessories with precision.
  • Learn and perform spray-in bed liner applications and undercoating services.
  • Install running boards, brush guards, grille guards, trailer hitches, tonneau covers, toppers, mud flaps, and other bolt-on accessories.
  • Install lighting upgrades, wheels, interior accessories, and other enhancements.
  • Perform basic wiring and light electrical installations for accessory equipment when required.
  • Read installation instructions and follow manufacturer specifications to ensure proper fit and function.
  • Inspect completed installations to verify quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Troubleshoot installation issues while maintaining high workmanship standards.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding job status and materials needed.
  • Assist with light vehicle maintenance or other shop duties as workload requires.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and environmental regulations.
