Job summary

Common Citizen, a Michigan-based cannabis company, seeks a Veg/Clone Technician to support seed-to-sale cultivation in our Veg Room/Nursery. You will perform planting, pruning, propagation, IPM, and tagging, while maintaining clean rooms and accurate records.

The role offers a Monday-Friday shift, non-exempt status, and opportunities to grow with a mission-driven team focused on safe, high-quality cannabis products for Michigan residents.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plant maintenance including planting, pruning, potting, watering, trellising, defoliating, topping plants.
• Clean and sanitize each room (Mother, Clone, Veg) and dispose of waste per guidelines.
• Propagation (Cutting, Pruning, and sticking).
• Monitor for pests and disease (IPM).
• Plant quality checks.
• Transplanting with coco blocks, planting, and METRC tagging on vegetative plants.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Plant maintenance includes planting, pruning, potting, watering, trellising, preparing, defoliating, pruning, and topping plants.
• Cleaning and sanitizing each room (Mother, Clone, Veg), and disposing of waste according to compliance guidelines.
• Propagation (Cutting, Pruning, and sticking)
• Monitoring for pests and disease. (IPM)
• Plant Quality check
• Transplanting includes placing coco block, planting, and applying METRC Tags on Vegetative plants.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to sit for long periods of time.
• Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• Reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
• Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a greenhouse environment (tolerance of heat & humidity).
