Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in engineering, business, forestry, horticulture, arboriculture, or related fields.
• Budgeting and forecasting knowledge.
• Thorough knowledge of electric utility transmission and distribution construction, maintenance and operations.
• Familiarity with statutes and regulations related to vegetation management.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and monitors the Vegetation Management Program and its personnel.
• Develops and implements program policies, procedures, and priorities.
• Manages annual operating budget and contractor invoicing processes.
• Represents the company with community and government groups and testifies when needed.
• Performs duties of System Arborist and facilitates inter-department coordination.
• Responds to callouts and participates in emergency response activities.
