VELCO Vermont Electric Power Company, Inc. invites motivated undergraduates and graduates to join the AGILE internship program.

Based on agile project management, interns contribute to strategic projects that protect reliability and affordability of Vermont's transmission system. You will work alongside engineers, technicians, and operations staff, perform field vegetation assessments near rights‑of‑way, and develop practical skills in forestry, GIS, and environmental resource practices.

Formación

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in forestry, natural resources, environmental science, arboriculture, GIS, or related field.
• Basic understanding of vegetation management and related practices.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; eager to learn and collaborate.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct field work in vegetation management along transmission rights‑of‑way.
• Assist with data collection and analysis to support grid reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering, finance, and operations teams.
