Job summary

Farm Sanctuary in Dudley, MA is seeking an energetic Culinary Intern focused on plant-based foods. You will assist with daily food preparation, support chefs, and help guests from order to completion while gaining exposure to both back-of-house and front-of-house operations.

The role emphasizes vegan menu development, hands-on baking, and events support in a fast-paced sanctuary setting. Housing and medical insurance after two months are provided.

Qualifications

• Must stand up to 4 hours and lift up to 25 lb with proper technique.
• Basic kitchen skills for knife handling and equipment use.
• Experience with measuring ingredients to complete recipes.
• Experience capturing content and editing for social media platforms.
• Open to learning equity and social justice principles at Farm Sanctuary.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily food preparation and work with chef and line-cook.
• Assist customers from order to completion and share menu knowledge.
• Ensure guest satisfaction with a Customer First attitude.
• Assist with both live and online classes and vegan baking.
• Adhere to cleaning and organizational protocols and policies.
