Location: Remote, USA

In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor, combining your deep technical expertise with a strong understanding of healthcare & life sciences client needs and procurement processes. You will be instrumental in the sales cycle, from initial client engagement and requirements gathering through solution design, demonstration, and proposal development. This position requires a blend of architectural vision, hands-on technical skill, and excellent communication abilities to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Partner with IBM account teams and clients to understand their mission, business processes, and technical requirements.
  2. Lead technical discovery sessions and workshops with clients to refine requirements and validate solution designs.
  3. Design scalable Veeva Vault PromoMats solutions aligned with business needs, regulatory requirements (e.g., 21 CFR Part 11), and Veeva best practices.
  4. Lead the full lifecycle of promotional material management, including submission intake, MLR/PRC reviews, approvals, expirations, and re-approvals.
  5. Architect integrations between Veeva Vault and enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, RIM, MedComms, DAM) using APIs and middleware.
  6. Configure lifecycles, workflows, document types, security roles, and metadata models across multiple Vaults.
  7. Define technical roadmaps, evaluate new Vault releases, and lead the adoption of new features.
  8. Lead document/data migrations and maintain environment parity across SBX, Test, and Production Vaults.
  9. Translate business needs into technical specifications, collaborating with stakeholders and development teams.
  10. Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts (POCs) that showcase the value of proposed solutions.
  11. Incorporate IBM's asset portfolio, including IBM Consulting Advantage and related Assets, into Veeva-centric solutions where appropriate.
  12. Stay current with the latest Veeva product releases, certifications, and industry trends.
  13. Potentially mentor and guide junior technical resources.
  14. Grow the capabilities of the team, develop best practices and accelerators.

Required Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years of hands-on experience with Veeva Vault, including PromoMats, MedComms, Modular Content, DAM, and Claims modules, with at least two end-to-end PromoMats implementations.
  2. In-depth knowledge of life sciences regulatory frameworks (e.g., GxP, 21 CFR Part 11), MLR processes, and experience supporting compliant document/data migrations.
  3. Must have a proven track record meeting with senior management and executives as the subject-matter expert.
  4. Must be able to take complex client and vendor concepts and articulate them to audiences of varying perception levels.
  5. Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience with at least one major cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  6. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a dispersed team.
  8. Experience working with or selling to Healthcare & Life Sciences clients.
  9. Veeva Certifications: Vault Platform Administrator, Vault CRM Administrator, or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Self-starter that can lead colleagues and customers through complexity to get results.
  2. Additional experience in Data Warehousing, Web Services, ETL, SQL, Force.com, FTP, Batch CSV integrations, and data migrations.
  3. Experience with other relevant technologies and integration patterns such as Salesforce and IQVIA.
  4. Familiarity with healthcare-specific compliance and security requirements like GxP and HIPAA.
