  • Inspect mechanical sub-assemblies and final assemblies to ensure quality standards are met
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and procedures
  • Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, microscopes, optical comparators, and drop gages
  • Assemble small, intricate components using hand tools and microscopes
  • Maintain steady production flow to meet weekly schedules
  • Follow detailed instructions from engineering and production leadership
  • Handle small parts with high accuracy and care
  • Support quality and compliance processes in a manufacturing environment

Job Description

You will play a key role in supporting the production of high-precision vacuum envelope assemblies used in advanced electronics and defense applications. Working within a cross-functional manufacturing team, you help ensure every component meets strict quality and compliance standards while maintaining efficient production flow. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy directly support Teledyne MEC’s reputation for precision and reliability.

What you’ll do
  • Inspect mechanical sub-assemblies and final assemblies to ensure quality standards are met
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and procedures

What you need

  • Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), cleanroom environments, or welding/brazing – preferred
  • Ability to lift 5–20 lbs – required

Salary Range

$39,000.00-$52,000.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
