Job summary

NextGen Federal Systems is seeking a VDI Platform Engineer to support an onsite Wright Patterson AFB contract. You will design, implement, and optimize virtual desktop infrastructure, including gold images, multi-session host pools, FSLogix containers, and Horizon connections.

The ideal candidate has experience with AD/AWS Directory Services, WorkSpaces, and streaming protocols, plus a track record of producing SOPs and performance metrics for user environments in regulated DoD settings.

Qualifications

• VDI-related experience with image management and multi-session pools.
• FSLogix profile containers and auto-scaling experience.
• Active Directory / AWS Directory Services and WorkSpaces experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and optimize VDI platform for onsite DoD environment.
• Maintain gold images, host pools, and FSLogix containers.
• Configure Horizon Connection Servers and streaming protocols (WSP/PCoIP).
• Provision instant clones and manage virtualization storage layers.
