Job summary

Peraton in Herndon, VA seeks an experienced Systems Engineer to lead Secure Virtual Desktops (VDI) for a national intelligence program, delivering engineering, deployment, and sustainment of secure IT infrastructure. You will supervise engineers and administrators, manage images, profile containers, and policy configurations, and ensure data accessibility and security across datacenters and cloud environments.

Active TS/SCI with Poly is required; travel within NCR may be needed.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph eligibility.
• Experience in high-sensitivity, government IT environments.
• Proven ability to design/implement VDI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain secure VDI environments.
• Manage session hosts, images, profiles, and policies.
• Lead IT solutions across datacenters, co-locations, and cloud.
• Evaluate new technologies to improve VDI performance.
• Ensure data security and accessibility across systems.
• Monitor performance and resolve root causes.
