Job summary

Southland Industries is seeking a VDC Manager to lead the division's Virtual Design & Construction team, partnering closely with divisional leadership, project teams, and enterprise technology groups to ensure VDC strategies align with corporate direction and business needs.

The role focuses on building a high-performing VDC team, driving standardization of processes and technology adoption, and providing strategic guidance on preconstruction, budgeting, and project delivery to achieve efficient

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline preferred.
• 10–12 years of related experience with at least 2 years in a lead role.
• Strong leadership capabilities with experience building and coaching VDC teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of design and construction workflows, planning, and financial management.
• Deep knowledge of VDC-related technologies and construction processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the division's VDC team, including Project Leads and Specialists.
• Partner with divisional leadership and project teams to align VDC strategies with business goals.
• Drive standardization of processes, technology, and best practices across the division.
• Provide strategic guidance on preconstruction planning, estimating, and budgeting for technology approaches.
• Foster continuous improvement in workflows and adoption of VDC solutions.
