Job summary

VEC seeks a VDC Specialist/Electrical in San Francisco to own BIM setup, QA/QC, and direct client services. The role requires coordinating with contractors, engineers, and owners to deliver accurate BIM models and timely project outcomes.

In this 100% onsite position at our San Francisco headquarters, you will lead modeling across disciplines, manage remote teams, and support pricing, change orders, and scheduling while ensuring constructible solutions and strong collaboration.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of BIM or VDC experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Bluebeam, and Procore.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems, conduit routing, NEC codes, and field installation practices.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary BIM efforts.
  • Ability to analyze modeling challenges and provide constructible solutions.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with contractors, project managers, and field teams.
  • Take full responsibility for BIM model accuracy, project success, and team collaboration.

Overview

As a VDC Specialist/Electrical, you will be responsible for ownership in three primary categories:

  • BIM project set up to include developing procedures and ensuring deliverables
  • Quality control to include quality assurance (QA/QC)
  • Direct client services

You will also have a supportive role in the following:

  • Modeling
  • Assisting PM in response to pricing and change orders as well as scheduling
  • Project management assigned tasks

What We're Looking For

Compensation Range:

$33.65-$43.27 an hour
