We have an exciting opportunity for a VDC Project Leader. Under the direction of the Assistant BIM Manager, the VDC Project Leader (VDC-PL) is responsible for execution of the electrical modeling process on assigned projects. This role owns the modeling Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), manages internal and third-party modeling technicians, and ensures models are populated, coordinated, and maintained in accordance with project requirements and company standards. The VDC Project Leader serves as the primary electrical representative in coordination meetings, working directly with other trades and general contractors to deliver a coordinated, buildable model. Depending on project size and resource availability, this role balances hands-on modeling with team leadership while ensuring modeling outputs support efficient detailing, fabrication, and field installation. Success in this role is measured by model quality, coordination effectiveness, clarity of inputs and timelines, protection of scope, and timely delivery of modeling information that enables downstream execution.

Required:

• 5 plus years of experience in electrical construction, modeling, VDC/BIM, or related role.
• Demonstrated experience managing modeling scope, coordination, and technician output on projects.
• Strong working knowledge of Revit and electrical modeling workflows.
• Experience participating in or leading trade coordination and clash resolution efforts.
• Understanding of electrical constructability and how modeling supports detailing, fabrication, and installation.
