Job summary

Strategic Mission Critical is seeking a Project Designer to join our growing Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) team supporting some of the world's most advanced mission critical facilities. This role is ideal for an early-career professional with prior industry experience who is looking to further develop their Revit, BIM, and VDC skillsets while working alongside experienced designers and coordinators.

You'll gain exposure to large-scale data center projects while building technical modeling

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional VDC/BIM/drafting experience.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit.
• Experience producing construction documents/models.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Able to work in a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Use Autodesk Revit to produce 3D models and shop drawings.
• Support modeling across electrical, mechanical, and plumbing disciplines.
• Apply VDC best practices to project execution.
• Set up drawings, sheets, views, and organize models.
• Interpret drawings and incorporate design intent into models.
• Participate in coordination meetings and deliverables.
