Job summary

MPI seeks a VDC Manager for a major mission-critical construction project in Houston. You will serve as the on-site SME for digital construction technologies and modelling coordination, reporting to senior VDC leadership.

You will lead BIM, coordination, logistics, and as-built models across the project lifecycle, leveraging Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and reality capture tools to drive delivery accuracy and collaboration with design, field, and trade partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum five years of construction, architectural, manufacturing, or related industry experience.
  • At least two years of VDC, BIM, or digital construction leadership experience.
  • Experience supporting large-scale commercial, industrial, mission-critical, manufacturing, or data centre projects preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM coordination workflows.
  • Familiarity with SketchUp, Fuzor, InfraWorks, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, Procore, scheduling platforms, and related construction technologies.
  • Experience with drone operations, LiDAR scanning, reality capture, and emerging construction technologies highly desirable.
  • FAA Part 107 certification and OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 credentials preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, analytical thinking, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor teams, drive innovation, and influence project outcomes.

Job Description
