Job summary

Slayden Constructors Inc. seeks a motivated VDC Engineer to support Oregon construction projects. This early-career role focuses on BIM, 3D modeling, and digital construction workflows, with hands-on opportunities across water/wastewater and heavy civil projects.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year experience with Autodesk tools (Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, ReCap, ACC) and an interest in field integration, surveying, reality capture, and project visualization. Hybrid office/field work offered.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of professional experience in VDC, BIM, or digital construction.
• Foundational knowledge of Autodesk tools: Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, ReCap, ACC.
• Ability to read construction drawings and BIM workflows.
• Willingness to travel and work in hybrid office/field environments.

Responsibilities

• Support VDC/BIM coordination and model integration across disciplines.
• Develop and maintain 3D models, drawings, and digital construction deliverables.
• Assist in clash detection, model reviews, and coordination activities.
• Create and review self-perform construction deliverables (e.g., concrete lift drawings, pipe shop drawings).
• Follow VDC standards and contribute to process improvements.
• Assist with ACC project environments and document management.
