Job summary

NPAworldwide is seeking a BIM/VDC specialist in Newport News, VA to model mechanical and plumbing systems in Revit up to LOD 400, create spool drawings, and coordinate with general contractors and trade partners. You will review drawings and submittals to ensure model accuracy, and work with field teams to verify constructability using Navisworks Manage.

The role requires 2+ years of Revit experience, proficiency with Navisworks Manage, and familiarity with SysQue or eVolve MEP.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Revit experience modeling mechanical or plumbing systems.
• Experience with SysQue, eVolve MEP, or Fabrication Parts.
• Hands-on spool sheets and hanger layouts experience.
• Proficiency in Navisworks Manage for clash detection and coordination.
• Comfortable leading or participating in coordination meetings.
• Strong communication, organization and teamwork skills.
• Working knowledge of MEP systems and commercial construction practices.
