Job summary

Evans General Contractors, LLC is seeking a full-time VDC+C Project Engineer for active project coordination and on-site technology integration in Denver. This role supports 3D modeling, trade partner coordination, and digital construction workflows in highly technical project environments.

You will generate visuals for construction logistics, manage model updates with field teams, and support clash detection and issue resolution using Navisworks, ACC, and Revit.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in construction modeling, coordination, or VDC.
• Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and ACC; Recap and Synchro preferred.
• Strong communicator with a proactive, tech-forward mindset.
• Experience with life sciences, data centers, or manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to interpret construction documents and translate into accurate model updates.

Responsibilities

• Assist with trade partner model coordination and federated model updates.
• Perform clash detection and tracking using Navisworks and ACC.
• Capture site conditions via laser scan or drone data and align to models.
• Generate visuals for logistics, site phasing, and stakeholder briefings.
• Coordinate submittal and shop drawing reviews with VDC leadership and field teams.
• Support issue resolution and model accuracy during field progress.
• Collaborate with designers on real-time model updates.
• Adopt new tools to solve complex problems quickly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with trade partner model coordination and update integration into the federated model
• Perform clash detection, tracking, and follow-up using Navisworks and ACC
• Capture site conditions using laser scanning or drone data; register and align to project models
• Generate visuals for construction logistics, site phasing, and stakeholder presentations
• Coordinate submittal and shop drawing review with VDC leadership and field teams
• Contribute to issue resolution and as-built model accuracy during field progress
• Collaborate with project team and external designers to manage real-time model updates
• Embrace and apply new tools to solve complex problems with speed and innovation

Requirements
