Job summary

SSOE Group’s Tool Install division seeks a Project VDC/BIM Specialist to drive efficiency and coordination through robust VDC/BIM processes. You will implement BIM standards, develop execution plans, and ensure successful BIM integration across projects.

You’ll provide guidance on modeling techniques, clash detection, and coordination, collaborating with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors while staying current with industry trends and tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a VDC/BIM Specialist or similar in the AEC industry.
• In-depth knowledge of BIM standards (IFC, LOD) and clash detection.
• Ability to integrate VDC/BIM into project workflows and drive collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project teams to establish VDC/BIM requirements and goals.
• Develop and implement VDC/BIM execution plans with deliverables and schedules.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to integrate BIM into project workflows.
• Monitor progress of BIM tasks and milestones.
• Develop and facilitate BIM standards, guidelines, and protocols.
• Provide guidance on BIM modeling techniques and clash detection.
• Conduct regular quality checks for BIM accuracy and consistency.
• Coordinate BIM coordination meetings and multidisciplinary reviews.
• Train project teams on BIM software and workflows.
• Support proposals and specifications for Reality Capture and outsourced BIM/VDC services.
