Job summary

SSOE is seeking a VDC Specialist IV to lead BIM/VDC efforts in a multi-disciplinary environment. You will set up projects, manage CDE, and enforce BIM standards across complex programs in the Facilities division.

The role requires 10–15+ years of BIM/3D CAD experience, advanced Revit/AutoCAD skills, and strong client-facing collaboration. Occasional travel is possible as part of a team delivering design solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree with 10-15+ years BIM/3D CAD experience in professional services.
• Advanced proficiency with two or more VDC/BIM platforms (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Inventor).
• Proficiency with collaboration platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360 and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, facilitation, meeting-planning, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up projects and deliverables under Department/Section Manager guidance.
• Manage Common Data Environment (CDE) configuration and access.
• Develop BIM Execution Plans (BxP) and enforce workflow standards.
• Lead BIM meetings, training, and mentorship of junior specialists.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, trade partners, and GC on model integration.
• Plan and perform model health checks and audits across projects.
