Job summary

Actalent in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a VDC / BIM Specialist / Coordinator to lead and coordinate BIM/VDC activities across pre-construction, design, and project management teams. You will manage models, facilitate coordination among stakeholders, and drive constructability and quality throughout the project lifecycle.

This contract-to-hire, onsite role offers growth into a leadership position within the BIM/VDC department and a pay range of $36.06–$40.87 per hour, depending on qualifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, MEP-related discipline, or BIM field.
• Proficiency in Revit VDC and BIM.
• Proficiency in Navisworks for coordination, clash detection, and model review.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for drafting and coordination support.

Job Description

The VDC / BIM Specialist / Coordinator supports pre-construction, design, and project management teams by leading and coordinating Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) activities. This role focuses on managing and analyzing models, facilitating coordination among project stakeholders, and ensuring constructability, quality, and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle. The position offers the opportunity to grow into a key leadership role within the BIM/VDC department.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $40.87/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
