Job summary

Actalent in Grand Rapids, MI seeks an experienced MEP Coordinator to oversee coordination of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems on commercial construction projects. You will work closely with project teams to ensure systems are well-coordinated, constructible, and ready for commissioning.

The role offers a contract-to-hire path with onsite work and a competitive hourly wage. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of hands-on coordination

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or a related construction field.
• At least 3 years of experience coordinating MEP and Fire Protection systems on commercial construction projects.
• Proficiency in Revit for MEP coordination and model review.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical distribution, lighting and controls, plumbing, fire protection, and building automation systems.
• Ability to read, interpret, and coordinate construction drawings, specifications, and submittals.
• Experience leading coordination meetings and resolving technical issues with diverse project stakeholders.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $40.87/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
