Job summary

MPI is seeking a VDC Manager to lead digital construction initiatives from preconstruction through project closeout. The role focuses on BIM leadership, BEP development, and coordinating federated models across architectural, structural, and MEP teams.

You will drive clash detection, constructability reviews, and issue resolution in collaboration with project management and field leadership to improve planning and execution. Strong BIM proficiency and leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Virtual Design & Construction (VDC), BIM, or Construction Technology leadership.
• Experience supporting complex commercial, industrial, manufacturing, mission-critical, life sciences, or large-scale construction projects.
• Strong proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, and related coordination software.
• Experience leading model coordination, clash detection, constructability reviews and BIM execution planning.
• Ability to collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, design teams, and trade partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead VDC and BIM implementation from preconstruction through project completion.
• Develop and manage project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
• Coordinate federated models across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
• Facilitate clash detection, constructability reviews, and issue resolution meetings.
• Partner with project management and field leadership teams to improve planning and execution.
• Perform model quality assurance and quality control reviews.
• Support innovation, standardization, training, and continuous improvement initiatives within the VDC function.
