Job summary

Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role. Experience with Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360 is preferred; certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in VDC/BIM roles within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling and coordination tools (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks).
• Familiarity with scheduling tools and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Preconstruction Support - Collaborate with estimating teams to develop model-based quantity take-offs and assist in bid preparation.
• Model Management - Develop and maintain accurate 3D/4D BIM models reflecting current design intent and inputs.
• Trade Coordination - Lead coordination meetings with subcontractors to resolve conflicts and manage clash detection.
• Field Integration - Support field teams with layout data and model-based workflows.
• Schedule Integration - Link models to project schedules for 4D simulations and progress tracking.
• Quality and Compliance - Maintain adherence to BIM/VDC standards and perform regular audits.
• Technology Leadership - Evaluate emerging VDC tools and train teams on best practices.
• Collaboration and Communication - Act as a technical resource and present VDC deliverables to clients and internal teams.
